J.A.Biarritz 2023 International Tournament
For its 1st Europe Experience, the Montreal Soccer Schools are forming two teams (U10-U11 and U12-U13) to participate in the J.A.Biarritz international tournament!
On the menu, an incredible soccer experience with this international tournament but also many cultural activities to discover this region of southern France (+ one day in Spain).

TEAM SELECTIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SELECTED PLAYERS
After two rounds of selection (nearly 150 registered!), we have selected the 26 most promising young players.
We decided to surprise 5 lucky winners by announcing the news to them in person, directly at their homes. Imagine their joy and their emotions!
THE TRIP - FROM 21 TO 29 MAY 2023
We left Montreal on Sunday May 21, 2023 to experience an exceptional week in the southwest of France. We also spent a day in Spain, in San Sebastián, where, among other things, we attended a Real Sociedad first team match.

THE J.A.BIARRITZ INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
24 participating teams per category
3rd place for the U11 selection
15th place for the U13 selection
Both of our teams achieved excellent results in the J.A. Biarritz international tournament held in the southwest of France. The tournament brought together teams from France, Spain, England, Portugal, Ireland, and, of course, Canada with the Montreal Soccer Schools.
Our U11 team secured a remarkable third place out of the 24 participating teams in their category. They demonstrated their skill by defeating renowned teams from the Paris region, such as Paris FC and Paris Alesia. Although they were eliminated in the semifinals by Deportivo Alavés, a Spanish team, they quickly recovered and won the match for third place against Olympique de Neuilly.
As for our U13 team, they finished 15th in the overall standings (3rd place in the Europa table) and achieved four victories, including an impressive 3-2 win against Real Sociedad, a Spanish team.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the players who represented us brilliantly in France! 👏
